Watch One Direction's Lively, Intimate Performance at Apple Music Festival

Earlier this week One Direction took a break from the stadiums and arenas they've headlined for their world tour to perform at London's Roundhouse for the Apple Music Festival. The boy band took the stage on Monday and followed opening act Little Mix.

The quartet's performance took place the same day that they announced more details about their fifth album, Made in the A.M., and debuted anthemic new song "Infinity." As their sound remains firmly in the stadium rock lane, the band primarily played songs from Midnight Memories and Four, their two most recent LPs. "Infinity" did not make its live debut that night, but the boys did include dynamic single "Drag Me Down" in the set and sang it just before they dove into their debut single, "What Makes You Beautiful."

Towards the end of the night, just before the finale, "Best Song Ever," One Direction treated the audience to a triumphant rendition of their folk-pop hit "Story of My Life," one of the first tracks to launch them into their more rock-heavy sound.

Earlier this month, the group wrapped up the North American leg of their On the Road Again tour in support of 2014's Four. On Thursday, they launched the U.K. leg with a show at London's O2 arena.

Made in the A.M. will be the band's first album without member Zayn Malik, who quite the group just weeks after they began the tour. Malik recently signed a solo recording contract with RCA. In June, Niall Horan told Rolling Stone that "nothing has changed" in regards to their live show post-Malik. "We're still going onstage every night and having the best time of our lives with our incredible fans," he added.

Made in the A.M. will be released on November 13.
