See Kanye West Crash A$AP Rocky's Coachella Set

For the second straight Coachella, Kanye West crashed another artist's set as the rapper made a surprise appearance during A$AP Rocky's gig Friday to perform The Life of Pablo's "Father Stretch My Hands, Pt. 1" on the opening night of the 2016 festival.

Wearing the hand-painted, lightning bolt-emblazoned jacket he teased in a Twitter post earlier in the day, West only managed to perform one song before both rappers were nudged off the stage by organizers; Rocky's set began 15 minutes late due to high winds that required a giant screen to be lowered, Los Angeles Times reports, which ate into Rocky's strict allotment of set time.

After the "Father Stretch My Hands" performance, both rappers departed the stage after discovering their microphones had been cut, which elicited boos from the audience.

At the 2015 fest, West similarly crashed the Weeknd's set, performing "Can't Tell Me Nothing," "I Don't Like," "Black Skinhead" and "All Day" during that singer's headlining performance. That surprise visit marked West's first time back at the Indio, California fest since his own headlining set in 2011.

Later in the night, West again made a surprise appearance during a Coachella set, this time popping up during Skrillex and Diplo's Jack Ü set. The rapper's cameo was even briefer this time around as he simply stood center stage while the EDM duo boomed West's "Power" over the speakers, with West opting not to partake in the song. After a half-minute of soaking in cheers, West again left the stage (via Your EDM).
