Jason Aldean to Perform With Kid Rock at Boston's Fenway Park

Jason Aldean, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, will add the title of "ringmaster" to his resume as he heads out on one of this summer's most anticipated concert treks. The Six String Circus Tour, launching May 19th in Rogers, Arkansas, and slated to run into October, will hit 27 cities along the way, with a special September 9th stop in Boston, co-headlining a show with Kid Rock in the shadow of the "Green Monster" at Fenway Park. The first-ever country act to perform at Fenway, Aldean shattered previous attendance records set at the legendary venue by Paul McCartney and the Dave Matthews Band. He recently returned from Australia, playing sold-out shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

"It was really cool to go over and play Australia for the first time last month," says the artist (via a statement) who became the first to headliner to sell out the CMC Rocks QLD Country Music Festival there. "But there’s nothing like shows at home. I’m looking forward to Kid Rock meeting up with us in Boston. We've played each other's shows and been friends for awhile, so actually getting to do a full night together somewhere as iconic as Fenway Park is going to be huge."

Also joining the "Lights Come On" singer throughout the tour will be special guests Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses. Tickets for the first dates of the run are on sale now, while tickets to the Fenway Park show will be available next Friday, April 22nd at 10 a.m. ET at JasonAldean.com and LiveNation.com.
