Admit it – Kobe Bryant's final-game fireworks made you forget all about the D'Angelo Russell/Nick Young/Iggy Azalea fiasco that had the Los Angeles Lakers' locker room on the brink of collapse.
To refresh your memory, late last month, a video Russell shot of teammate Young (who just so happens to be Azalea's fiancé) discussing various infidelities somehow leaked, setting off a firestorm that reduced the young point guard to persona non grata within the confines of the Staples Center, capped a historically awful season for the Lake Show and left the rapper fielding questions about the future or her relationship with Swaggy P.
In the days following the leak, Russell apologized, Azalea dismissed the doubters as "trolls…that take great joy in saying really awful things to people" and Young – shut down for the season – just sat back and enjoyed Kobe's last game as a Laker. And on Monday night, Iggy took to Twitter in the hopes of finally putting the matter to bed.
For the record, i havent broken up with Nick. We are together and i would love to be given a little (a lot) of privacy on the matter.
